IT'S UP TO YOU In the past few months, many media stories have focused on the economy--how bad it is, what's being done about it, and whether those steps are working (or not working). Politicians and political analysts tell us what should be done about it, and generally wind up arguing along party lines. In addition, we've all got friends, family members or coworkers who weigh in regularly with their own opinions. And when things don't improve, many companies just pull back, laying off workers and trying to survive.
At times, it seems that there's not a lot of help out there. Who do you believe and who do you trust? Is there anyone who can improve life and the economy in this country?
Yes there is.
YOU.
That's right--you, your ideas and your commitment to your dream. The country was built with the entrepreneurial spirit and the drive of small business people who envisioned new products and new ways to make life better. And when those products blossomed, more jobs were created and the United States boomed. Even in tough times, the spirit of the average American kept the collective "American Dream" alive.
And the entrepreneurs made it a reality.
It's not so different now. The country will turn around thanks to people like you, who are willing to spend hours in a workshop shaping ideas into viable products and services. We at the Dream Merchant continue to salute you and encourage you. May your dreams blossom and help all of us live better lives filled with happiness, hope and a sense that anything is possible.
