MOVING FORWARD

At this time each year, we usually recognize the Dream Merchant's anniversary. This issue marks our 18th year of helping inventors and small business people reach success.

Back in 1990, our publisher, John Moreland, had a vision--to share information and experience with those who have dreams for new products, services and small business. And from that first humble newsletter, the Dream Merchant eventually became the leading print publication for inventors during the 1990s. Since then, we've continued our mission of information and inspiration online.

And the best part of our journey continues to be the people we meet and work with. These folks, more than any other factor, have made our 18 years a time of creativity and joy. And over the years, we've had the privilege to work with some of the invention world's leading individuals--entrepreneur Joe Cossman, inventors Jerry Smith and Ken Tarlow, product developer James Riordan, and kids' business expert Bonnie Drew. And our office has benefited greatly from the work of Linda Black and Karen Neilsen.

And, of course, we wouldn't be here without YOU, our readers, who have continued to inspire us. We keep our own dreams alive because of you. You continue to make the Dream Merchant a positive beacon for so many. Let's all focus on goals for the coming year and together make your personal dreams come true.
