Starting a Business is Only the First Step. Now You Must Let People Know That Your Product or Service is Available. Here's How.

Once you've started a business, marketing becomes an important aspect of your success. "Marketing" is everything you do to tell people about the product or service you're selling. Here are several innovative marketing ideas to help you promote your business:
1. Business Cards--This is a standard business tool that helps you promote your business when meeting new people and making new contacts.2. Flyers--These can be posted at various locations around town. They should be eye-catching, with a snappy sales slogan and colorful graphics.
3. Free Demonstrations--Offer to demonstrate your product or service to friends or other business owners. The resulting "word-of-mouth" advertising can result in future sales.
4. Support a Cause--Consider donating your product or service to help local charities or fundraising events.
5. Make a Video--Create a video demonstrating your product or service and include contact information for potential customers. Send copies of the video to those who can help spread the word about your business.
6. Set up Displays--Local businesses may allow you set up an attractive display that offers information about products and services.
Consider using one or more of the above approaches to market your business. Let people know what you offer!
