PAY LESS MONEY FOR EACH AD YOU PLACE
Reducing Ad Costs May Be "Old News" for Some, But it Cannot Be Ignored. Reducing Costs Remains an Important Issue for Small Business Owners.
Certain individuals have discovered a few ways to pay LESS than full price for each ad they place. Some of you might find this to be "old news," while others may profit greatly from this information. Let's take a look at it:1. Find Ads Offering Discounts--Look for special "Ad Offers" listing discounts on the purchase of your ads. Some ads might offer Two for the Price of One, or they might give a lower than normal ad rate. Order your ads at their discounted rates and you'll never have to pay full price for ads, ever again.2. Look For Publisher Specials--The publishers of several trade magazines offer a special rate for regular advertisers. If you purchase three ads in advance, you'll often receive a fourth ad published FREE. Some will give you a fifth ad, free, when you order and pay for four ads in advance. Others offer a Free ad, when you have purchased 10 ads from them. Look for these specials.
3. Use Space Filler Ads--Some publishers have "left over space" when they get to laying out their latest issues. Maybe they're working on a 12-page issue and they have enough articles and ads to fill only 11 pages. What do they do? They can't leave one page blank. To address this issue, many publishers keep a file full of ads "to be used when space permits."
Contact publishers NOW and send them some of your ads in advance--to be used when they have leftover space to fill. They will then bill you at LESS than the full rate. It helps THEM to have some extra ads on hand and it helps YOU, as you won't have to pay full price for those ads. The worst they can say is "No."
4. Trade Ads With Others--If you publish a newsletter or ad sheet, contact others who do the same. Maybe you can work out trade deals with them. They insert one of YOUR ads in their next issue and you do the same. Neither of you puts out any money and BOTH of you get an ad in another publication.
5. Put Your Best Ad on a Rubber Stamp--Every letter that you send out can have your ad on it, stamped on the back side. Every flyer you mail can have your ad stamped on it. Stamp your ad wherever you can--it's a free ad for you, every time you stamp it.
Use the above approaches and watch your ad costs go down. Best of luck with your business.
