HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PRODUCTS

How Do You Make Serious Money In Today's Business Climate? Become a Source--the Only Source--For Your Product or Service.

To make any REAL money selling products or services to others, you have to eventually become the only source. You thereby control your own products. You need to first determine what kind of products will be good sellers. And to do that, you need to concentrate on what other people want or need.

If your customers will be other mailorder tradespeople like yourself, they'll need the same kinds of things which YOU also need. If you're marketing to others through mailorder sales, you will need NAME LISTS (lists of prospective customers), or you must do advertising to reach new, prospective customers.

If you're going to market to others by mail, you'll probably be using Flyers or Sales Letters. These will need to be circulated by mail, so you must either mail each flyer by yourself, or pay MAILERS to mail to the prospective buyers.

The best kind of products to sell by mail are those which are used up quickly. Then people run out of them and come back to you for more, again and again. For example, Name Lists are used up and customers will continue to need more and more names. Names are a good product to sell.

1. Quality Names--Quality name lists of new customers are always a good seller. Study the market. Advertise for names, or sell products that lots of people want and collect your own names. Customers will want GOOD names and will pay good money for them. Bad names will be returned. Names that get old must be replaced with new names. It's a very demanding business, but you can make lots of money at it, if you can continue to supply quality name lists to your customers.

2. Advertising (Display or Classified Ad Space)--This is something which most business people need, again and again. If you can issue your own Newsletter or Magazine, you can control your own ad space. You can sell ad space in it to others, and others can also sell ad space in it FOR you. By being an Advertising Manager for another magazine, you'll always have a constant flow of orders coming in.

3. Flyers--These will constantly be used up, and more will always have to be printed. If you can learn about Printing or Copying, and be able to provide such a service to others, you'll always receive lots of orders. Possibly you can buy your own Printer or Copier. Possibly you can order all of your Printing at wholesale, and then mark it up and sell it to others at a profit.

Always be looking for ways in which YOU can supply to others what THEY need. You can also sell products to the general public, but your BEST repeat buyers will always be other mailorder dealers like yourself.
