HOW TO GET ALL YOUR PRINTING AT HALF-PRICE

Need Methods for Cutting Your Print Costs? Read On.

By Gary Christensen

Most companies in business NEED a multitude of printed materials. For example, the things that come to mind are Letterheads, Envelopes and Business Cards. In addition to those essentials, companies could need several types of business forms--sales flyers, shipping labels and product brochures. Just look around your desk and you might see five or 10 other printed items that your company uses every day.

You can save hundreds of dollars every year on all your printing by utilizing one or more of these cost-saving methods. These have worked for us and for many people we know. The secret is in knowing WHAT to do...or what to ASK for, and if done correctly, you'll save 50 percent (or more) on everything you have printed.

1. Use the Services of a Discount "Co-op" Printer--This type of printer charges you only HALF of his usual printing prices (or nearly half) if you allow him to print HIS flyer or price list on the back of each flyer he prints for you. Here's how it works:

A. You order YOUR flyer to be printed.

B. You allow HIM to print HIS offer on the back of each of your flyers.

C. When you distribute YOUR flyer, HIS ad (on the back side) rides along and ends up in the hands of your customers.

D. YOU are helping to put HIS flyer into the hands of new, potential customers and...

E. In exchange, you are getting lower printing prices.

Because of the FREE circulation of HIS information, he charges you just half of what he normally charges. That's a pretty good deal.

2. Share --You and one other dealer or business person can "go in together." The two of you can take your two flyers to a printer. He prints your two flyers back-to-back. If you order 2,000 printed, each of you receives 1,000 copies and pays HALF the printing bill. Each of you receives 1,000 copies of your flyer printed, with your partner's flyer on the back of each of yours. And as your friend distributes HIS 1,000, YOUR flyer goes to each of his customers. You BOTH get additional circulation, and each of you only pays HALF the total cost of printing.

3. Commission--You could work with a printer, forward orders to him, and you might be allowed to keep a percentage of each order as your commission, while also getting all of your printing a half-price (or at least a substantial discount).

Begin working with a printing company and advertise HIS services to YOUR customers, as if YOU were the printer. YOU take in orders, keep a commission on each order, and forward the rest of the order to the printer to be filled and shipped. You make a percentage of the money on every printing order and you may also get all your own printing at half price.

Use the above methods to save money on your next printing order.
