There is no question that information is one of the best selling products in mail order. Selling information with reproduction/duplication rights is a simple, easy way to break into the mail order industry. Some of the benefits of starting this type of business are:
• You have a ready-made product that you didn't have to spend the time and effort to create.• You have complete control of the product. You only have to produce what you need. In some cases, you may be able to make changes in the information, if you feel it's necessary. You may create your own unique sales materials.
• You only make one purchase. You keep all the money. You don't have to share the profits with anyone else.
• You can create your own unique packages by purchasing information from different sources and putting it all together in one package. You can purchase information on a specific subject to sell to a niche market, such as, marketing/advertising, self-publishing, network marketing, the Internet, etc.
Here are a few things to consider when purchasing information with reproduction rights:
There are limited reproduction rights. Which means that you may only reproduce the information for your own personal use, such as, reproducing a sales letter that you can send to potential customers for a product or service that is provided by someone else and you receive a commission on the sale.
